It piqued my interest, and with the aid of innumerable acquaintances, we were able to strike a profitable deal. It earned me a commission of fifteen lakhs at the age of eighteen, and Tejas Construction was born.
A casual conversation with an advocate who stayed at my grandmother's paying guest facility turned out to be a life-changing opportunity. An advocate, his client, and a dire need to get his construction project approved by the municipal corporation was the next big breakthrough. Staying right opposite Pune Municipal Corporation was an advantage as it helped me earn many friends who were working in PMC. Therefore, getting the necessary documents ready and approved was easy. Similarly, my amicable relations were also beneficial in recruiting a team of contractors and architects on board for the same project. My networking skills, cooperative nature, and little investment earned me a 5% partnership in the construction and development company. In 2011 Construction & Development came to life.
